There are many genetic disorders and lots of them are very harmful or very effective to any body’s life. A genetic disorder is simply a problem that is caused by one or even more abnormalities in the genome, most can be present from birth alone. A genome is the genetic material of an organism, this consist of DNA and RNA virus’s. Genetic Disorders are clarified as rare and only effects serval thousand or even million. It can be heritable but sometimes may not be. If it’s not token from the parent then it means that there was a genetic mutation or even a changes in the DNA itself. A crisis with SCD can be very severe pain that may feel like it’s untreatable, this pain can last several hours or even several days. These pains are caused by when the red blood cells block small blood vessels that carry blood to your bones. These pains can occur in knees, back, legs, mainly anywhere with bones. Some people complain that their pain is sharp, dull, throbbing and even stabbing. Imagine how this feels! People with this genetic disorder have to suffer through so much pain and agony. Keeping fluids in your body can help soothe the pain and even sometimes at home medicine may help. There are many things you should avoid while having SCD that can make the pain began. Things that can keep SCD crisis from occurring is not drinking alcohol, if you’re a smoker stop smoking immediately, drink at least at the most 12 ounces of (water) a day, treat any infections if there are any or as soon as it occurs, and even trying to be positive and stay positive about yourself!! There are some at home medications that can be used to treat the pain that may be occurring before proceeding to medical care such as Tylenol other name is acetaminophen, Aspirin, ibuprofen such as Advil or Motrin, and even Aleve other name for this drug is naproxen sodium.
