In the short story “My Last Hollywood Script” by Anzia Yezierska, the author portrays multiple personalities throughout the story, which gives the audience a clear picture of what kind of person she really is. They author has many different personalities throughout her story but the most prominent change in her personality comes at the end of the story. The author at the beginning of the story is very reluctant to talk to anyone, as she fears they will judge her. In the novel Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson, a teenage girl, who had to overcome and deal with an awful tragedy, takes readers on the long journey she walked before finding meaning and value in who she is as a person.
In her personal narrative, “Context” (1994), Dorothy Allison explores the ways in which the context of her life impacted her childhood and adult life. She also shows that when context is not fully understood, it can often create a gap between people who have different backgrounds. Dorothy Allison uses comparisons, flashbacks, and gives examples from personal experience to support her claims. She describes scenes from her life in order for readers to recognize how context gives people the facility to understand others and have distinct perspectives of others. Oftentimes denoting words of such nature, one would refer to such as a derogatory term or profanity. However, his meticulous choice of description transcribes his subjective biases towards the word, and thus has committed the “begging the question” fallacy. Therefore, even upon introduction, Marriott subtly states his stance and persuasive motive.

Lead singers of both bands, Steven Morrissey and Robert Smith, have even denounced each other in various interviews. However, there is an obvious answer to which of the two bands and their singers are superior to one another. Backed up by multitudes of evidence, The Cure and lead singer Robert Smith clearly surpass the talent and morality of that of Morrissey and The Smiths.

Benjamin Franklin started writing an autobiography of his life when he was about sixty-five years old. This self-narrative was written about Franklin’s life goals and accomplishments.
