Model that we built called structured model, because it mimic the chemical recation in biological system. All quantities and calculation also solved by SimBiology as well, so our focused is only built sturcutred model that approach reality. Structured model also offers control about reaction rate in simulation biosystem, so it can be predicted what reaction that bikin lambat pembentukan produk atau mempercepat pembentukan produk.. As many reaction that occur in the cell, we also choose wisely what genes that must be knockdown or increased, because metabolism reaction in the cell like a network. The model that lately shown in this paper also verified with BioModels, the databank of system biology model on internet16. The E. coli strain SBS550MG that used in this …show more content…

coli strain, the next thing that were done is to predict the succinate production of this strain. In order to do so, the metabolism that happened in the cells were modelled using software packaged in MATLAB that SimBiology. The main perspective in doing such were to make sure the alteration of metabolism that were done in the cells needed to increase the production of succinate while still maintaining the life-cycle of the cell itself. This model meant to be used to determine the possible number of yield product that produce by the cell by correlate the life-cycle, metabolism rate also the environment condition. The metabolism model that been done shown in Figure 7 Fig. 7 Glyoxylate pathway metabolism model based on SimBiology From metabolic model, we also create the enzyme synthesis model that shown in Figure 8. Enzymatic reaction within the metabolism also modelled to ensure the metabolic model run as way it is. The model refers to Dixon (2011)16 with modification to increase succinate production in E. coli strain SBS5530MG. Total reaction involves in this model are 165 reaction with 300 parameters of the model. Fig. 8 Enzyme synthesis pathway model based on
