USA is very similar to ancient Rome. Rome’s style of buildings is copied everywhere in the world especially in the USA. In the USA almost all of the important buildings are shaped like ancient Roman buildings. The Roman twelve table laws are very similar to the USA laws for example the 3 table debt for the roman side if you didn’t pay that money back on time it would be 2x more then the first time or you would have to work as a slave for that person until you pay off your debt back. For the US side you would have to take away your property until you pay back the money. In Ancient Rome they had one big highway that is where we got the idea for interstates and highways. Whenever you look at the design of the white house it’s the same as the design of Roman buildings where the senators lived or where the Emperor lived. Roman’s were so successful because of there position the seven mountains protected them and there position was a perfect place for trade so that’s why they expanded so fast. Its pretty much the same for USA, it was on a perfect spot for trade. Just how USA had the civil wars ancient Rome had civil wars also in ancient Rome the generals were fighting for who is going to be the emperor, unlike the American Civil war where it was state against state to capture a territory or region. After a period of time Ancient Rome divided into the Western Roman Empire and the Eastern Roman Empire, because the eastern Roman Empire had a capital city Constantine built a capital city for the Western Roman Empire. Just as every state has the head city.
