Throughout the U.S History, from slavery to the Black Lives Matter movement today, racial discrimination has been an unresolved issue in many social aspects. It is especially evident in unequal treatment to white and black Americans in terms of judicial system, and there has been a lot of attempts with different strategies to fight against it as in Black Lives Matter movement (BLM movement) and the novel by Harper Lee, To Kill A Mockingbird. Although Black Lives Matter uses social media and protests, while To Kill A Mockingbird relies on legal system, both are fighting for the end of discrimination in the United States by changing the attitudes of the people and laws. Both Black Lives Matter movement and the To Kill A Mockingbird pursue to
