726 Words3 Pages

I am convinced that the true author of the works attributed to Shakespeare is Edward DeVere the Earl Of Oxford. Many pieces of evidence show that Edward DeVere is the true author of these plays and sonnets, but one convincing piece of evidence is the bible Owned by Edward DeVere that had 1,066 similarities with shakespeare's work. I think one of the most convincing piece of evidence for Edward being the real author is that Edward owned a bible which was heavily annotated with sentences and 1,066 of the sentences in DeVeres bible correspond to the match with sentences in the books and plays that shakespeare wrote. This evidence supports my claim because it shows that Edward Devre could have written the plays of shakespeare because how could …show more content…

Edward DeVere is the true writer of the Shakespeare plays because he was more intelligent and knew more about law and courtship which were in some of the plays by Shakespeare. Edward DeVere was far more educated than Shakespeare was and had the ability to write plays then shakespeare did, but one convincing piece of evidence is the bible Owned by Edward Devere that had similarities with shakespeare's work. Edward DeVere was far more educated than Shakespeare was and had the ability to write plays then shakespeare did. Shakespeare did not have the education to write such great plays. The sonnets and plays shows someone who has had many years of education and not someone who only went to sixth grade. Shakespeare had only gone up to the 6th grade while Edward DeVere went to school and law school. Edward DeVere went to law school and some of the plays showed knowledge of law and courtship which is something Edward DeVere would know and not shakespeare. The plays and sonnets that shakespeare supposedly wrote could have only been written by someone with knowledge of how to write plays and books and only someone with a great knowledge of law and courtship. Law and courtship is discussed in the plays that shakespeare supposedly wrote, but how could he know if he hasn't gone to Law school like Edward DeVere went to. This evidence supports my claim because someone like shakespeare who only went up to the sixth grade could not of written theses plays. Edward DeVere had the correct education and also went to law school which make sense on how shakespeare's plays talked alot about law which is something Edward Devere knew and not
