So often readers don't know what they will expect from a book. In the novel Fahrenheit 451 many things seemed to happened that were unexpected. It’s very relevant to readers in the modern world to read this book. Fahrenheit 451 has a powerful message to modern readers because of the similarities and differences between the novel and our world.
For example, in the modern world today we have earphones, and in the book Fahrenheit 451 they called them “electronic bees that were humming the hour away’. In today's world we call them earphones, earplugs, headphones. But in the book they seemed to changed it up a little. To me it seems that either way they are the same thing. Today it is either cars or police helicopters but not both at the same time. In the book, the police used the helicopters that turn into cars to chase Montag. In the modern world the police chase a fugitive with cars and helicopters. After the police were after Montag, he knew what his consequence would be after being caught. While the police were trying to chase montag the police has the chase on tv and the tv people said they had caught Montag. Yet the man on the street was just a innocent man and got killed because they thought he was Montag. He had met some men in the forest. Those men were old professors and were at a camp. They were also book burners. They read the books and then burnt them. Shared them by mouth. Montag was not sure if he could trust in theses old professors. Each and every professors told their own story and shared how they were at a camp. Sharing their stories and growing together. The old professors were the ones wos told Montag about him being on tv and they knew he would end up where the old professors were
