Young Victor differs from other children, with his incessant hunger the power of knowledge, so he began teaching himself. As he aged, his curiosity expanded leading him to explore and experiment with more out of the box thinking. While playing god must have seemed fun for Victor, he never thought, ‘I know I can but should I?’ Victor managed to create life and also destroyed many, becoming the monster that created the creature. Victor made him from dead body parts, however he still had all five senses. “His yellow skin scarcely covered the work of muscles and arteries beneath; his hair looked a lustrous black, and flowing; but these luxuriance only formed a more horrid contract with his watery eyes that looked almost of the same color as the dum-white sockets in which they would have had set his shriveled complexion and straight black lips’ ( Frankenstein 42). When Creature first awoke he could see, hear, smell, and feel things and could taste food if had ate something. An intelligent being, once he became hungry he went out for food; he ate berries from a tree and drank from the brook in the nearby forest. As Creature lived in the forest for several days and nights food became scarce. He longed to obtain food and shelter so he began to search for it. His journey lasted for three days leading him to a village on the other side of the forest. While in the village, Creature would become a target; he was attacked; the people ran in fear; the whole village was roused. Everything in his life could not have been any better because he had, loving parents and a great education. Although he lost his mother at a young age he still had his father and siblings to fall back on for love and support. Once Victor left for college he could have done anything he set he mind to, instead he wanted to create the creature. During the time it took to create the creature, Victor began to lose his mind. He separated himself from life outside his apartment; he even began to lose contact with his family.
