This article discusses the Torah and Qu ran’s different misunderstandings of individual’s conception. This is clearly shown through the two scriptures (the Quran and Torah) which discuss the part of Abraham’s sacrifice for his son. Both scriptures portray different views and aspects of the incident. The major problems discussed in this article are the two conceptions prophecy may illuminate one another. The Jewish view of prophecy will deal with two major themes, the history of the prophecy and the second is the view of Moses as an example of biblical prophecy. On the other hand, the Islamic view prophecy is mainly looked through the Quranic material with references to scholarly studies of problem. In the article, the Islamic area focused on, the figure of Muhammad, the nature of revelation, and the history of revelation. In the end discussion, this article will discuss comparative conclusions that will talk about comparing two important figures of distinct religions. The biblical figure of Moses in Judaism and Muhammad in the Quranic figure. Thus, the focus was to summarize the concepts between the prophecy which occurred for both religions, Islam and Judaism. In Judaism, the outline of the prophecy began through the outline of Paul. In Islam, the Quran emphasizes the amazing attributes and characteristics of the prophet Muhammad pub. He is seen as being an important figure (prophet) in the Islamic faith. Thus, overall, the comparison between Islam or Judaism can be seen through then history. More so, I got to learn about new terms such as seers which talks about who posses the ability to open up to which has been enclosed to ordinary mortals. These terms were applied to biblical figures such as Samuel and Saul. Also, the Jewish prophecy had some similarities to the Islamic faith. Both faiths depend on God to deliver its messages to their appointed figures. Thus, I was quite surprised about the different terms used in the Jewish prophecy. I felt that Muhammad is the centre focus in the Islamic faith and the actions that he follows. It presented the revelation of a Prophet who did not even know how to read or write but suddenly being put with a great task. Muhammad being the messenger of Allah, was seen to be a pious person whose main purpose in life was to worship God. I believe that in Islam this is the main message being presented which is to worship
