Contrary to popular belief, all religions share the same underlying principles. Each has its own set of guidelines and specifics that make them distinct from the others, even though they all convey the same message and impact they hold on our modern society. Religions like Judaism and Christianity, have these multitudes of contrasting ideas, making it appears that there was a base or core idea to kick off the sparks of these thoughts. These underlying core ideas show throughout each religion's development and diffusion through various stories. All religions have the same clear universal impact and values.
In all religions, there is an understanding that we were created by something or someone. Specifically in Hinduism, gods that represented various elements and characteristics emerged from the chaos to create life. Future religions were influenced by these ideas explaining how the fusion of elements and chaos produced life thousands of years later in various forms. In contrast, Judaism and Christianity hold the idea that an entity known as God created the universe and everything in it as well as created humanity and placed them on this planet. All religions have been spread or kept alive by words, regardless of whether it was via the Silk Road, the Torah, or a scroll. Every religion relies heavily on language because it is impossible for them to survive without speech and written messages. Despite the lack of spoken words in the Torah and the Bible, the written words on the pages contributed to the growth of both Judaism and Christianity. Both religions were able to flourish through books and scrolls through storytelling and ideas. Many other religions were impacted by them, which caused them to recognize the power of words.
