Comparing Caesar and King
There are many times that you will see a difference in opinion and find people voicing their opinions differently. On the other hand, you will see people coming together for a cause and making a change similarly and that is what we are going to focus on. Two good examples of this can be found in “The Fear and the Flames” and The Tragedy of Julius Caesar. In “The Fear and the Flames,” civil rights activist, Martin Luther King, Jr. gets assassinated and in The Tragedy of Julius Caesar, Caesar gets assassinated by plebeians. By reading both of the stories, you encounter 2 innocent killings, riots, and revenge.
In both, The Tragedy of Julius Caesar and “The Fear and The Flames,” an innocent killing occurs. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated while doing nothing wrong. The body was found on the streets and just left there while many bystanders walked by doing nothing about the issue. The text states, “The man was in a brown suit and had on a shirt and tie.” By this many imply that he was working and not doing

In “The Fear and The Flames,” the town broke out. “Last night, America became a place where you could understand the meaning of the word anarchy.” Which means that chaos broke out. When people noticed the dead man in the street and went to the near hospital to get help the doctors and administrators they refused because of all the chaos going on outside. The text states “Let somebody else come do it. We’re not taking any chances.” Another example in this story is how there were fires started and the blacks decided that they would not be living in this country any longer. In The tragedy of Julius Caesar, the First Plebeian states “We will burn the house of Brutus.” This implies that he was very mad at Brutus. Another example of a riot after the killing of Caesar is when all yelled, “Seek! Burn! Fire! Kill! Slay! This shows that more chaos was going to break
