Throughout the book the author took us on an intriguing adventure through the expedition Lewis and Clark took many years ago. In the beginning the author makes it clear that he has always been fascinated by the two mens expedition and they write this book to inform the readers of the real adventure that Lewis and Clark proceeded on. They use landmarks, maps, and photographs to take readers on the same trip as the famous explorers. The authors made this book very easy to understand and it was always kept at a steady flow making it easy for readers to stay on track rather than being veered from the main subject of the book. It will make them believe that what Lewis and Clark did was truly a life threatening and dangerous expedition but also a trip of excitement and captivating landmarks. The author shows the readers pictures of the same landmarks and trails that the two explorers endured on their adventure as the authors try to recreate the same one. In the book the authors use dates, maps, journals, and several other materials to take the same expedition that Lewis and Clark did. Their goal was to make readers aware of all the excitement and hardships they had to accustom to and undergo. On several pages throughout the book the authors have placed pictures of the maps they used, landmarks, the terrain, and the animals they came across throughout their venture. This book was solely wrote by the authors and the information within the book has come from their internal knowledge and from stories that have been passed down to each generation. In the book they do cite where each picture was taken from and give a short description of what is in that picture and what was happening there at the time it was
