One piece of work is the novel The Notebook, throughout the novel the main character named Noah describes the story of his wife Allie and him. Allie and Noah were in different social classes. This is reminiscent of the play Romeo and Juliet because they were also in different classes, one was a Montague while the other was a Capulet. In the two stories the two couples could not deny their love for each other. At the end of The Notebook, Allie and Noah die peacefully in a nursing home together. In Romeo and Juliet, they each kill themselves to be with each other forever. In both the play and novel the characters fall for each other when they are young and have an undeniable love that cannot be broken. They also suffer from their two families
