In act 1 scene 5 a hall in Capulet's house, I acted as Romeo. In my opinion, my acting company had a great overall performance. The day before our performance, we had a dressed rehearsal and we were told that we needed to fix our blocking and visual delivery and overnight our group got together and worked together. Playing Romeo, I had to play as a young man falling in love with a girl at first sight, for the first time seeing Juliet, Romeo was amazed at how beautiful this young girl was. At the beginning of the scene Romeo spoke to himself about what he thought of Juliet.
When Juliet threatens to kill herself rather than marry paris, Friar proposes a plan. “ take thou this vial, being then in bed, and this distilling liquor drink thou off… shall Romeo by my letters know our drift. And hither shall he come.” Friar tells Juliet to drink a herbal essence that will cause her to seem dead. THinking that she is really dead, her sorrowing family will take her to the Capulet tomb, where Friar and Romeo will wait secretly for her to regain consciousness.
Juliet says in Act 4 that she is willing to do anything rather than marry Paris. Some options she stated were straight up stabbing herself or taking the potion Friar Laurence gave her. The first option of stabbing herself would not end well as the potion would. I say this because the whole plan was to have Juliet take the potion the night before to “kill” herself and then Romeo come save her and they run off to Mantua. Well if she were to actually kill herself with a knife she would not see Romeo at the end like it was planned out.
He then goes to the Capulet tomb. Paris, a man who would’ve married Juliet, is at the tomb when Romeo enters. Paris challenges Romeo to a duel and Paris dies. Romeo then drinks the poison and dies. Juliet wakes up and finds Romeo dead.
Unfortunately, Romeo does not get the message in time and goes to the tomb to mourn over Juliet and later dies by drinking the poison he bought from an
The plans Juliet makes with Friar Lawrence ends in her and Romeo's death. Friar Lawrence decided to let Juliet marry Paris on Thursday. Then he said on Wednesday, Juliet will drink from a vial that will stop her pulse and make her appear dead. After that, she would be placed in a tomb for 48 hours.
Paris had left his servant to keep watch while he went in. Romeo and Benvolio arrive at the tomb Romeo goes in while Benvolio waits outside Romeo finds Paris when he gets inside stand by Juliet they start to fight and Paris dies then Romeo walks to his love and takes out the poison and drinks it and says “o true apothecary thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss I die”(Shakespeare 120). That was a critical decision because it caused Juliet to die and it ended the fight between both families. The reason it ended the fight is because the families found out they were in love with each other and married.
In Act 1 Scene 5, when Romeo & Juliet meet it helps the characters develop into something much more complex within their emotions and boundaries and also helps further develop the plot. In Lheurmann’s film, the camera movement was fast paced making the love in that scene much more hard to convey unlike Zeffirelli’s film. Lheurmann’s film was very swift in the way the camera was moving, consequently making it hard to convey the theme. He uses fast cuts, while they gaze at each other through the fish tank, to focus attention and give emphasis to their facial expressions when they see each other for the first time. These fast cuts affect the atmosphere for the audience and poorly portray the unconditional love that Romeo and Juliet have for
After hearing the news about Juliet's alleged death Romeo seeks out for a way to end his life almost immediately. He finds poison and makes his way over to her tomb with the thought “Well, Juliet I will lie with thee tonight" because he is so obsessed with her that he is planning on ending his life so he doesn't live without her (5.1.36) . When Romeo gets to Juliet's tomb, he spots Paris and fights him outside her tomb. When Romeo was just about to kill him, Paris’s last words were “Oh, I am slain! If thou be merciful open the tomb.
Juliet is then placed in her family tomb while the city of Verona mourns her loss. Meanwhile, Romeo’s man, Balthasar, rides from Verona to Mantua to relay the sad news of Juliet’s death to his sir. Romeo, upon hearing the news, becomes rash and buys poison from a poor apothecary to end his life. He then rides back to Verona with Balthasar to die in Juliet’s tomb, two days after her burial. Count Paris is at Juliet’s tomb spreading flowers when Romeo begins approaching, so Paris hides, imploring who would be visiting his beloved’s tomb so late at night.
Romeo arrives at the Capulet tomb, ends up fighting Paris and killing him. Romeo sees Juliet in the tomb and says a speech right before he kisses her, drinks the poison and dies instantly. After Romeo dies, Friar Lawrence arrives
Paris travels to the friar to let him known that he is about to marry Juliet, even though the friar knows that juliet is already married he decides

The love story of Romeo and Juliet is tragic but relatable. This is shown throughout the play as their characters develop and show their true colors. The theme of Romeo and juliet is love because this play focuses on the different types of love and the connections of each characters. Love one of the major themes of the play including having brotherly love, parental love, and of course romantic love. Love plays a big part between each character in this play.
In acts I and II, I feel that male characters are the most dramatic . I feel that the men in the story tell more of the story with how dramatic they are. First, Romeo starts showing his dramatic side right away in the play. Romeo said " Ay me! Sad hours seem long.
