The French and American revolution were two very different events. They both were examples of the people protesting and rioting against the government ; both in violent ways. It may seem like both of the revolutions are very similar ; however, the historical records show that these two revolutions both began with different ideas and their results were even more divergent than their ideas. There are many similarities and differences between these two events. The similarities and differences come in economy, leaders and provocation. The American revolution started with the issues with the British taxes. The most influential idea at this time was “ no taxation without representation”. Post French and Indian war, the British were in huge debt.
