Would you continue to tag along with an unfortunate tradition? In the story , “The Giver” by Lois Lowry, There is an annual ceremony of jobs that are assigned to 12 years old yearly. In the story “The lottery” by Shirley Jackson ,there is a tradition where a not so fortunate winner gets to win the lottery and gets an unfortunate prize each year.
