She is mainly concerned about her own appearance and materialistic things, but doesn’t care about others. Daisy is not capable of true love. She chooses to marry Tom for his money, because she is tired of waiting for Gatsby. Daisy decides to love Gatsby again after they meet again five years later and he impresses her with his big mansion. Daisy shows her fickle personality when she to not go to Gatsby’s funeral and leave town. She doesn’t even say a word to Nick.
