The Black Cat is a short horror story that is written by Edgar Allen Poe in the 1800s. This short story's main character is an unknown man that does not mention his name in the story but does tell about his life. The Tell-Tale Heart is another shorts story that was written by Poe in the 19th century. The story tells about a narrator that is unknown as well, and the tone of the story is very mysterious and creepy. Some differences between the books The Black Cat and The Tell-Tale Heart is that there was a possibility that The Black Cat actually lived. Unlike horror books ones, they're all made up stories that seem to attract readers into reading them. One way that they do it is by making it exciting so it seems like they really lived.
