Introduction At the beginning of World War ll a plan to cleanse Germany of unwanted peoples was starting to make headway. High ranking Nazi’s were placed in charge of the Final Solution; a systematic planned, execution of anyone who didn’t belong to the Aryan race. This was considered a very important mission among the Nazi party, and anyone trying to impede or halt the process would be severely punished. Dark times for anyone who didn’t belong to the master race in Germany. The Holocaust impacted millions and not in a good way, the Nazi leadership who were involved in the countless crimes committed during this time deserved to be punished; Simon Wiesenthal made sure these people got what they deserved and were not simply forgotten. Even during his early childhood he had to deal with anti-semitism. During the German occupation in World War l Simon’s family was singled out for being Jewish by the soldiers (“Simon Wiesenthal Biography”). Throughout his life Wiesenthal pursude many careers, first of which being an architect. In the early 1930s Wiesenthal got a degree in architectural engineering and set up his business in the city of Lvov (“Simon Wiesenthal Biography”). Once the German occupation of Poland began it began to affect Simon in almost every aspect of his life.
