Well imagine reading a whole entire story filled with characters, scenes, and a real-life background; that till this day leaves a lot of mystery on how brilliantly this tale is told. Sir Gawain and The Green knight is the story of Morgan le fay’s imagination. This is an Era of the 14th century in the King Arthur period where it’s a classic Christmas tale which is all an illusion. The world in this era seemed almost too perfect to be real that it is credible that Morgan le fay created this utopia all in her head. Her character is much unlike any Christian as she brings temptation with Dionysus comparisons in behavior. All the women once again are described so honorably so godly that it’s a beginning to a women’s world. Lust, instigating, and dishonesty comes through the character Morgan Le Fay. In her head, it is revealed that this is her story As a reader you can picture it avidly. She basically guides the story and drops hints that it is all an illusion. Sir Gawain and The Green Knight is certainly not the ordinary Christmas tale it’s much deeper. The further the story goes the more you understand how much religion gives insight to this tale. In all could be said you need a lot of imagination to come up with such understanding in an era of the 14th century for romances this is certainly not one.
