In Why Women Still Can’t Have it all, Slaughter’s primary argument focuses on the seemingly unattainable balance between a woman’s ability to continue having a high-level profile job while keeping a stable family life. This issue comes up due to the intense time demand of each task, and whether being there for your children is more important than keeping a high level professional job.
