Sleepy Hollow Mood Essay

In the story Sleepy Hollow there were a lot of different moods throughout the story. But there were 3 moods that really stuck out to me throughout the story. The three moods that stuck out to me were Drowsy, quiet, and sleepy. These three moods are what I got from the story and I will explain why I think these three moods are best for the story. The first mood I will be explaining is the “Sleepy” mood that I picked. I think that “Sleepy” is a good mood that explains the story because in the story people were wide awake before entering the sleepy region. So what i'm saying here is that people can be wide awake or already tired but when they enter the sleepy region they become sleepy. This is what creates the “Sleepy” mood. That's why I think the ' ‘Sleepy” mood is a good mood that stuck out throughout the story. One of the other moods I had picked to explain why it was a good mood throughout the story was the “Quiet” mood. I think that the “Quiet” mood is a good mood that helps explain the story's mood because in the story they said that the little village is the quietest place. This also shows other moods when they are using the “Quiet” mood like spooky and scary. The ‘Quiet” mood could mean and show different things. But the ‘Quite” mood is used to be more spooky in this story. This is the main reason why I picked “Quite” as one of my moods. That's why I think the “Quiet” mood is a good mood that stuck out throughout the story. The last mood I picked was the “Drowsy” mood. I think the “Drowsy” mood is a good mood that was in the story. This mood helped explain the story and it also helped other moods in the story and one of those moods that it helped was one that I picked. I picked the mood “Drowsy” because in the story when entering the sleepy region they become sleepy. So the region makes every one drowsy and tired.
