Soccer has played a significant role in shaping my life. I starting playing soccer at the age of four. Soccer quickly became my true passion. I sincerely want to help each and every YHS soccer player find that same passion for the game. I took a risk and sacrificed other activities, not truly knowing if my decision would ultimately lead me to a positive result. It has. I have committed to playing DII Soccer for Stonehill College. I truly hope to serve as your team captain and help each and everyone of you to achieve your own best and continue to play on!
As a player, I have participated in soccer at various levels of competition. Each experience has helped me to develop my skills as a teammate and as a leader. I have enjoyed learning from so many great players, mentors, and coaches throughout the last several years. I honestly hope to pay those lessons forward...not only in words but in action. I sincerely want to help each and every YHS soccer player believe in herself and grow confident in not only her soccer skills but herself. My philosophy as a captain has been shaped by so many experiences, both on and off the soccer field. To be entirely honest, I want to challenge our team to be our own best, the best we can be as individuals and collectively, as a team. That means helping one another in classes, projects, social settings. The best teammates know and understand each other, recognize and accept each other’s strengths and weaknesses, help one another, communicate, and, most importantly, support each other. I am confident to lead YHS Girls’ Soccer Team to some great successes. I cannot promise we will win every game, but I am absolutely certain we, as a team, will approach each and every challenge we face with trust and
