I choose the article from class consciousness to culture, action, and social organization. The social problem address in this article is Social Class. Social Class refers to a group of people with similar attributes such as, wealth, and status. Researchers choose to use various different forms of systematic data collection techniques to research this issue. Researchers found a great amount of research on class identification, class attitude, and class political preferences. Some researchers found that land and resources is controlled by the wealthy class.

Social Class refers to a group of people with similar attributes such as, wealth, and status. A social class, or in other terms class society, is a group of personal opinions described concepts in the political theory and social sciences focused on copies of social stratification where people are set into a group of hierarchical social class, normally being the lower, working, middle and upper classes. Sociologist use different methods to determine social class, objective, subjective, and reputational method. Objective measures the hard facts, subjective measures what people think of themselves, and reputational measures what people think of others. The lower class is the people living in poverty, homelessness, and maybe unemployment. The working class is the group that may have little education, work in manual labor, and have no class. The middle class and sandwiched somewhere in the middle, and split into two groups. This group normally have white collar jobs, and have more money and education than the classes below them. The upper class also divides into two groups, lower upper class, and upper upper class. Lower Upper class being the new money people, from things like investments, and business ventures. The Upper upper class are the old money people, being high society people that have been rich for many

I think that starting by making people aware of the problem could possibly bring people together. This will bring together the lower class, working class, and middle class together to start protesting things, like minimum wage, job security, education, and living poor neighborhoods. A lot of the same reasons we have so many people living in poverty. Making people aware of the issue could also possibly make rich people want to give more, and if not willingly then protesting could bring about great results. Remember the lower class, power, and middle class are the people that work for the rich. Awareness to this social problem is key, and with social media, and everybody being connected to the web in some type of way, I believe that it could be done. We can fight for things like, equality in the work place and in society, and creating jobs is another way to ensue people are in at least the working class.
