“Homelessness is the condition of a person or persons living without regular dwelling. People who are homeless are most often unable to acquire and maintain regular, safe and adequate housing.” (Boundless,2016) People that are of higher risk of becoming homeless are mostly persons’ suffering from substance abuse or mental disorders, also the unemployed. Homeless people stereotypically live on the streets some spend nights in shelters , transitional housing or cars are also makeshift dwelling. Homelessness is a social problem and a large part of structural inequality , seventy-one percent (71%) of the homeless reside in urban areas.
