The Internet which is used for a number of things among which are blogging, storing information and social interaction through online podiums which provides for virtual communication and interaction with different people in distinct places. With the advent of the internet and more specifically the social media, the message of Islam has reached a lot places in a short span of time. Left to oral evangelism, some people would still not have had the opportunity of conversing with Muslims not to talk of getting to know about Islam. As at today, there are tons of Islamic channels, pages and groups on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, among other social media platforms, where the message of Islam is been propagated and shared globally to Muslims and Non-Muslims alike. A close perusal of these channels and pages would show that the messages of Islam shared through them are truly received. This is due to the number of subscribers and views which run to millions of subscribers and views these pages record daily. This is so, too, for Islamic scholars who now have the opportunity to teach people of different cultures and tribes, the basic tenets, principles and message of Islam. For instance, Dr. Zakir Naik, who is a prominent Islamic scholar resides in India and preaches there sometimes travelling out.
