Social Security fund is a critical institution that supports the overall welfare of employees. The law of Burundian government does not recommend the social security fund to specifically support veterans; rather, it offers lawful support to them as it does so to other members. As it is shown in paragraphs that show the benefits challenges of veterans in Burundi, there is a need to the government that should enact laws gives it capability to deal with social welfare challenges and by taking into account veterans concerns. RECOMMENDATIONS 28. Due to the nature of military work that involves greater risks, government must think ways to improve life of veterans, especially those who experienced serious injuries that lead to permanent disability.
