Having lived under capitalism, socialism and communism, I admit left leaning thinking puzzles me, although I can understand it. Of course it’s all about people and the best way to organize a society. Yet the left says it’s more about people than economics and that’s that’s the first point where I start to disagree. So tell me, if you can’t fund a society, how can the people benefit?

Get the economics right and you can have more or less any social system you like. Yet, how can you distribute wealth that comes from a capitalist economic system that you want to destroy? Every Communism system up and running has an element of capitalism running within it, those that haven’t collapsed long ago. Is it only western communists that don’t understand this? On to communism.

So you introduce communism, grab individual wealth and every country bar none ends up a dictatorship with mass genocide. A lesson learned? Apparently not, as the usual excuse that it’s not real communism is trotted out and we need to continue with it in the hope that one day it might work. How many more hundreds of millions need to be slaughtered before it’s discovered that the economics of government ownership and distribution don’t work? The left now take from the producers to give to the non-producers in the hope of creating a more equal society, which produces the opposite of more poverty. Scratches head. The answer seems to be, like communism, if it isn’t working, let’s have more of it. Businesses start to collapse, the middle classes shrink under the weight of taxation, unemployment increases and with it poverty . . . . . the answer?
