I. Introduction Throughout the time, the terms of borders and identities have always been connected to each other. Passing through the other side of a border usually means transforming of the personal identity and culture into something delicate. Living on the border or after passing through it, it is almost like each immigrant’s identity, although it should be limitless, is surrounded with borders.
In the first source by Ziauddin Sardar it tells us how everyone is labeled by where they live and how they act. That if we lose these things our identity will crack and we will no longer belong. This means that people are willing to study social problems throughout the world and the society that they live in. In my life, I deal with my social class, Gender, Race, Religion, and the time I was born. Because of who I am, I definitely have been a part of a different upbringing and lifestyle that many sociologist may find interesting.
