In the famous piece written by Plato “The Apology” we can read about Socrates defending himself against his accusers. During his monologue Socrates states that when deciding about our actions we should not take into account matter of life or death. And that only person who is truly good will not think about these consequences. According to him, when making decisions we should think only about this particular action. If it is bad or wrong. We should not concentrate on things like our life during making them. For Socrates the only thing that should matter is if we are wrong or right. We can see how this thinking affects him. It explains why he decided not to stop questioning people and we can better understand what draw him during his defense speech. This quote is not an exception. Not everyone is as noble as Socrates. He believes that people while making decision should decide if what they are doing is making them bad or good man. But some of us may actually choose to pursue with the thing that will be harmful for the rest of us. And according to his thinking such person should pursue with the wrong deed and not think about if this will get him killed. Once more time his thinking is idealistic. He believes that one person when deciding to risk his life will definitely do the right thing. And I agree with him.
