Soda-Pop People change thought out time. In S.E. Hinton 's The Outsiders Soda-Pop is one of the three brothers that change. Soda-Pop changes by starting to care more about Ponyboy after Johnny kills Bob, he became more cautious, and he started to stand up for himself and Ponyboy. After Johnny kills Bob Soda-Pop starts to care more about Ponyboy. When Darry and Soda find out that Ponyboy has ran away soda writes Ponyboy a letter. In the letter Soda show he cares about Ponyboy by saying " Darry and me nearly went nuts when you ran out like that". That statement indicates that Darry and Soda were worried about Ponyboy. When Ponyboy comes back home after being in the hospital Soda starts to become more cautious about
