This company that makes softball bats was started in Caledonia, Minnesota and it was founded in 1997. From the onset of the company’s beginning they were known for making aluminium bats. In 1997 they were new comers in the softball bat industry and they were able to curve a name for themselves by introducing the first high-performance composite bats. These bats that they made gave them the recognition as serious contenders to being the best softball bats producers. In 2012 Miken introduced hyperbolic technology to its softball bats. This technology enabled the bats to have multilayer walls that extend from the handle to the barrel and give a 20% bigger sweetspot. Through vortex handle technology, the softball bat’s load is distributed evenly, which makes layers to move seamlessly together for performance and optimal flex.

It is made of 100% composite with ultra II technology features that lets barrel walls to flex inward to create a trampoline effect and a bigger sweet spot. It also uses Carbon X shell Technology. This technology makes the bat more durable and hits the ball further every time a connection is made. The handle of the bat is ultrathin measuring at 13/16” and a 13.5” barrel length that gives the bats excellent handling and a huge hitting area. With these bats the players will be able to dominate games.
Pros: these bats are easy to use and last for a very long time. They are good for beginners and professionals all alike with their greater sweet spot.
Cons: these bats are not ASA verified and they can only be played in very few leagues. These bats are highly priced and would keep many would be players from using them.
