We used a lot of symbols in our movements. For example, two of us pretend to fight against each other when we say "I have witnessed bloody battles", and other two of us hand in hand when we say "And a peaceful time before." The reason why we do that is because that we want to bring a vivid image about the poem to audience. We hope audience could bring themselves into that position as the soil at Vimy Ridge, and they've seen things change through time. They've see the war , the peace, and the bravery of the Canadian soldiers. Moreover, we let Ben to read most part of the poem as his solo. It met our expectation. Especially for the "Bent double" part. We used Echo and Synchronization at the same time to created an image that several beggars bent down actually bent down. I think that is a really good part. Furthermore, I think we made good connections between each lines. Although each line was read by different person, it sounds very consistently and fluently. Although the presentation met our expectation, there are also two things that I think did not work very well. To start with, Maybe because practice time was limited, the movements are not that unified. For instance, when we read "Till on the haunting flares we turned our backs", we were supposed to turn our backs at the same time. However, this didn't work out very well. Everyone turned at different time. Moreover, I also find there was no big movements in our presentation, and we always stay in a line. I think we will improve it next time. We are going to add more Choral Reading and Movement techniques this time. And will also make them more complex and fancy. We will use creativity to interpreted the poem. For example, we won’t keep our formation as a line anymore, and we have big movements during our presentation. We will try our best to do
