Introduction: The purpose of this lab was to investigate the time of solar noon, and ultimately, a solar day through various dates throughout the year. In order to do this, the application starry night was utilized to find the time when the sun was bisected equally by the meridian, or solar noon, on the first and 16th of each month of the entire year. If this experiment is conducted, then the time of solar noon and solar days will vary depending on the date and month of the year.
