All South Africans deserve free higher education
In 2015 and 2016 student protest disrupted academics activities at almost all South African Universities. Students were on a call for free higher education, and the decolonization of the university curriculum. Because of the fact that the government proposed an increasing tuition fee. And the fact that tertiary fees are too expensive and that for many people it is hard to obtain the funding to send themselves or their children to University, this is due to financial inclusions and inequality in South Africa. Therefore this does not mean that our University standard.
University fees in South Africa run up to thousands of rands. Some students who actually come from historically disadvantaged families households or families, do not have the financial means to meet up with this fees. For example students from rural area and townships. Not only this is the case, but most African households have not built or accumulated generational wealth as other people have, and they cannot access student loans into meet the liability.

This also means that all students would be relieved of the necessity to work a plethora of jobs in order to pay their studies and pay for food, books. Moreover, a lot of female students turn to sex work in order to get money, free education would help free our females. This could actually mean that students could focus on their studies. Therefore, the student has to take a time off from tertiary education because they do not have the money or afford to register for a specific year, this means that students from disadvantaged households can finish their studies on record time, and become less of a burden on the
