I would like to attend the Southern University Agricultural and Mechanical College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to pursue a career in Promotions, Management & Marketing. Southern University to me is more than an institution; it's a part of my culture. The Jaguar Nation is inevitably a part of my heritage. My mother and my mother's mother all went to Southern, along with the majority of my aunts, uncles, and cousins. I practically grew up as a Jaguar; dressed in blue and gold for homecoming, tailgating on the yard with my family, and jamming along with the Human Jukebox at nearly every Bayou Classic. Not only is Southern U apart of my family's history, the college also plays an important role in African-American history.
