Our nation is the greatest in the world, yet we have our flaws. In order to fix the defects of the United States, I believe our current laws on the economy, foreign policy, and criminal behaviour must be revised. This letter will cover a specific issue in each of the aforementioned categories. I believe that the government needs to increase the budget for space programs like NASA and SpaceX. Looking around, you will find countless inventions. If the United States never made an effort to reach the moon, the devices you see around you wouldn't be there. Many people have no idea who invented the technology they use daily. The space program brought together some of the greatest minds in the world. They worked towards the moon, but along the way, these scientists created many innovations we couldn't live without today. Some of the inventions coming from the space program are: artificial limbs, pacemakers, life alert, and many more. These devices have saved thousands of lives and resulted in millions of dollars in profit for the United States. America needs to proactively address potential issues before they become serious and immediate threats. There are terrorist groups forming throughout the world, and since they are so small, our government tends to ignore their existence. Terrorist groups like I.S.I.L. use this incubation period to build their strength and prepare for a large scale war.
