Sparks Police Report

On July 16, 2016, Sparks Police Department officers were dispatched to a report of a sexual assault. When the officers arrived, they met with the victim and her boyfriend. The boyfriend stated he had come to the victim’s home and discovered her sitting on a bed occupied by the defendant Sean Dickerson. The victim was crying and trembling she told him the defendant had sexually assaulted. The boyfriend walked the victim to another room and contacted law enforcement.

The officers discovered the victim sitting on the floor crying and shaking. She explained the defendant was her ex-boyfriend. On the night before, the defendant showed and let himself into the residence without her permission. Her current boyfriend and the defendant got

She eventually decided to up the defendant and asked him where he wanted to be dropped off. He informed he wanted to go back to the victim’s home. When they arrived, she told the defendant he could go inside and sleep but she was leaving. The defendant grabbed the victim’s keys and cell phone. He then got out of the car went to the driver’s door grabbed the victim and dragged her to the front door. Once they got to the door, he pushed her into the house and down on the ground. The victim stated she was screaming with the hope someone who come and help her.

After closing the door, the defendant physically picked up the victim and threw her on a bed in a nearby room. He then proceeded to forcibly remove her clothes. She attempted to fight the defendant off but he prevailed. Once he had control he trusted his fingers into the defendant’s vagina. She was able to finally gain some distance between him and her. The defendant was grabbing at her and told he was going to have “sex” with her with the wish to impregnate her. During the interview, the officer noticed the victim had blood on her. After dressing, he asked if everything was alright and inquired about the victim’s wellbeing. The officers stated she was okay but they needed to talk to him about what had happened. The defendant agreed to talk to the officers.

The defendant stated the victim told him she was having problems with her current boyfriend. She came and picked him up and took him back to her house. After talking, he explained to the victim he wanted to go to sleep. She asked if him if she could sleep in the same bed; he agreed but told her he did not want to have sex with her. He told the officers he and the victim had only laid together and denied having any sexual contact with the victim. One of the officers noticed spots of blood on the defendant’ shirt; which he claimed to be from a bloody nose. There were blood stains on the defendant’s hands primarily his right pointer finger.
