Thousands of women have screamed at the top of their lungs, clawed at the patriarchy, and tirelessly fought for their rights as citizens of the United States of America. From the beginning of mankind, women have been labeled as inferior to men not only physically, but mentally and intellectually as well. Only in 1920 did women gain the right to voice their opinions in government elections while wealthy white men received the expected right since the creation of the United States. A pioneer in women’s suffrage, Susan B. Anthony publicly spoke out against this hypocrisy in a time when women were only seen as child bearers and household keepers. Using the United State’s very own Constitution and Declaration as ammunition, Anthony wrote countless
There are so many topics I believe that Richard Wright would've talked about today that it is hard to narrow down to just three. If someone told him that we would have a black president in the next century we definitely would have looked at you like you were crazy but if he were here today he would be proud of how much better we have come today. We have improved as a country today for equal rights and treatment of black people but we also still have a long way to go for we are not perfect. For example he would be very ashamed how black people are still getting killed just because of their skin color. He would also be disappointed that blacks are still getting paid less statistically less than whites considering how many jobs Richard had growing up.
I have a story that I would love to share with you all, I doubted myself although I had practiced, during the table service competition in the service portion I mistakenly poured water into the candle holder, when I told my instructor he asked "what in the world made you think that the candle holder was a glass?! " My response was, " I thought it was a fancy glass!" But that did make me hide my face, I pushed through the rest of the competition, with shaking hands, and a confidence level that hit rock bottom. Later I brushed it off and I said to myself, mistakes have to be made to achieve greatness.
Over the course of history, many oppressive systems have been overthrown by the people whom they belittled. Even today, here in our country that boasts the ideology of freedom, we continue to be oppressed under the false pretense of education. You might ask how that is possible because you don’t feel oppressed. Well, it is because that is how you have been conditioned to think by some of your teachers, and the education system.
instead I was tossed a red bag of orange triangles that looked completely inedible. I was confused to say the least. It hit me then that although we both speak English, there was still a barrier. School was no better. Although I was adjusting, I became tired of being treated like a parrot, repeating words back while people listened in amazement.
Thank you, Millicent Fawcett, for giving me the opportunity to speak on behalf of the National Union of Women 's Suffrage Societies which Millicent leads with grace and dignity. Some of you may know me and some of you may not, but I am Clementine Forest one of 3000 women suffragists who has marched here today, the largest march ever occurred, for the cause of women 's suffrage. I am here to represent and express the importance of women receiving the right to vote. Unfortunately, the London weather wasn 't on our side with the presence of heavy rain throughout our march from Hyde Park to Exter Hall, but this reinforces that nothing will stop women from protesting their right to vote. As you know we have been gathered together as one, today on February 9th, 1907, the day in which Parliament is open once again for the coming year.

Nowadays, whereas bodybuilding once ruled the roost, Powerlifting is instead looking at taking the number one spot when it comes to popular gym activities. Rather than simply looking to improve the way their bodies, look, people nowadays are instead training for form and function, which is part of the reason why Powerlifting has become so hugely popular over the last decade or so. Strongman contests and competitions are far from new as they’ve been practiced for decades upon decades, centuries in fact, but it is thanks to the popularity of these strongman contests, that Powerlifting has taken off so much. Powerlifting is all about form and technique, rather than just brute strength like many people tend to believe. It is notoriously difficult and insanely physically demanding, which is why only a select few individuals will ever make a success from it.
I. There are numerous amounts of diseases all over the world. In the present time, these diseases are cured or contained by vaccines. A couple centuries ago, doctor Edward Jenner developed the first vaccine in 1796. He discovered this vaccine by observing his ambiance. Jenner realized that milkmaids (tend to cattle) frequently contracted cowpox, but after they convalesced they were immune to the deadlier disease smallpox.
Optimism is hopefulness for the future, and, like me, most people get their optimism from their roots, or how they were brought up as a child. My parents would always remind me from a young age that being pessimistic will not help you achieve your goal, so you might as well be optimistic and try. They have always taught me from a young age, and never denied or doubted, that with optimism comes opportunity, and that optimism is, in fact, the key to success. Over the years, I’ve learned that the more optimistic you are, the more creative you can be. With optimistic attitude, one can generate new ideas and create possibilities to move forward faster and more efficiently than at normal times, due to an open mind.
Presentation 1 The first assignment was to prepare an informative speech about our personal experience. The time limit set was 3 minutes. No additional visual or printed material was required. The presentation, unfortunately, was delivered via WebEx platform, and not personally to the audience, which in my opinion has some negative impact on my performance.

There have been many influences that have affected my life, though there are four main influences that have primarily affected my life in different ways. My main influences are my family, the environment, science, and technology. These have affected my past, present, and future.
Are you afraid of sharing your thoughts? Do you believe that they can tell about your actions? Would you like to have someone you could talk to with no shame of being judged? Well, there is a profession were people listen to others and at the same time, thousands of thoughts are being connected in their minds with a purpose of understanding and helping you. Family Family is one of the greatest gift and blessing from the Lord. Without family you can not feel love, care , satisfaction and happiness.
