I attended a talk recently at Dunman High Secondary by a guy named Mano. He is disabled, everything from is abdomen down is purely vegetable. He can only work with his arms, and his head, that of which, he earns money from. He gives talks, inspiring talks just like Nic Vuijic (however it is supposed to be spelt) and educates people about the difference and more importantly, similarities between us and them. He showed us this slide (Picture of equality vs equity) which captured my attention because, I 'm interested in equality. I 'm interested in this strange unintentionally forgotten aspect of the world. Equality is what keeps us together, it is what helps our society to progress. Sure... Looking at the world context today, women usually wear slightly more revealing clothes to like parties or dinners and stuff while men tend to wear more smart looking suits. Girls in informal occasions usually either wear short shorts or slim jeans while guys... Just casually wear tees and Bermudas... We have the tendency to think that guys should be hanging out with guys and girls should be hanging out with girls and that mix gender "squads" would be very awkward. My whole life I have never lived by that rule. I primary school and even now, I 'm the guy who always hangs out with girls because I find that they are pmore suited for my kind of personality I suppose. You know..the more social ones and less rough ones on the planet... Sorry
