Incredible India an organisation started in the year 2002 is an international marketing campaign by the Government of India to promote tourism in India to a global audience. The title was officially branded and promoted by Amitabh Kant, the former Secretary under the Ministry of tourism.
This land is your land; This land is my land;
From the Himalayas down to Cape Comorin
From the Arabian waters to the Bay of Bengal
This land was made for you and me The above lines the refrain of a popular song, still remained etched on my mind and I often remember my school days when as students we used to sing this song with our heads held high and shoulders squared on Independence Day!
Incredible, indeed, is India the land of our birth. Its unity and diversity is arresting, making it a hot spot for tourist. The color that is India, the culture, the varying landscape, the language and dialects spoken, the folk load, and song and dance in short, her myriad hues make India a unique nation. Where else but in India can you find the sleek Audi and the humble bullock cart ambling side by side? Or a quaint village laid back in time juxtaposed against a city of skyscrapers like Mumbai or a metro like Delhi
