The Michigan State basketball team has had their Midnight Madness and two exhibition games. The Midnight Madness show really gave the fans a look at the whole roster and our star players. Michigan State 's star sophomore player, Miles Bridges, has been named National Player of the year and also Big Ten pre-season player of the year. With pre-season in mind right now, many of the fans were shocked by the outcome of Michigan State 's first exhibition game against Ferris State, as the final score was 80-72. What do you think of when you think of October? Black cats? Witches? Many people think of Halloween, but that is not the only holiday in this month. Two very important holidays take place in this month:

That is how I look at Halloween. Unfortunately here in Latvia they are not into this holiday and only children at school dress up but afterwards don’t go trick or treating and young adults enjoy going a bit crazy in the pubs in Riga. In the U.S. it is common to see carved pumpkins most everywhere and in some other parts of the world as well. There are also gourd-like orange fruits that get carved with ghoulish face and illuminated by candles.

On a Halloween night a witch was cutting a bright orange glowing pumpkin. The pumpkin held the most terrifying thing yet! The pumpkin held a nightmare drift,the nightmare drift is a portal that brings your terrifying and dangerous nightmares to life! The drift was held in a pumpkin for 178 years,it can only be cut open on october 31 on Halloween. Many people know when Fall has arrived. Fall comes with the sound of sneezes, drippy noses, and red itchy eyes.
