Sports have become one of the biggest phenomenons since politics. It is the one thing in the world that unites us all. The Sports Management field is quickly becoming a widely sought out degree program in colleges across America as well as other countries. The one thing that brings everyone together across all borders is sports. There used to be an old assumption that you had to have played at one time or have been in “the league” in order for you to be good at managing sports, but that is not the case. Learn how the business side of sports runs and explore whether or not if it’s an environment you enjoy. Volunteering experience may vary from providing entertainment, working in ticket sales or other odd jobs that may be needed at the particular venue you are volunteering at.
