Since herbs are natural, most of the consumers believes herbal products are completely safe and the product use continuously increased and is reported 10-19% growth in United States. Product Description: St. John’s wort (SJW) is a yellow flowering plant, grows in the wild used for health purpose for long time .The plant belongs to genus Hypercium specious. Scientific name is Hypericum perforatum. St. John’s wort was named so because it blooms around June 24th, the birthday of John the Baptist. Johns wort intake and seek professional advice for dose adjustment .For pregnant and breast feeding very little safety information available so its recommended to seek medical advice before considering the use of SJW. Basically SJW has more short term safety than long term .Depression get severe if not treated well ,do not consider SJW as a substitute for seeking medical help
