Cause and Effect: Stan Lee Hook: The avengers,Spider-Man, the Hulk, Deadpool and many more that I created for the last 60 years, hi I'm Stan Lee and I am one of the writers for Marvel Comics..The first Marvel comic that I wrote was the Fantastic Four. I lathered teamed with artist Jack Kirby and we created the Fantastic Four. After the success of the Fantastic Four, Jack and I later created the Hulk, Iron Man, X men and our most successful character Spider-Man. Major discovery/contribution: When I was writing comic books I knew that DC comics had some good storylines, so I decided to make the Marvel comics super heroes storylines more serious and entertaining. I knew I needed to attract comic book readers from little kids to adults, so I decided to make the Marvel comic books more addictive so the fans can understand why the superheroes are interesting. Impact of discovery/contribution during your lifetime: I also used the Marvel comics to send message to readers about real world situation. For example in one of the issues for “ The Amazing Spider-Man” I wrote about one of Peter Parkers friends was using and becoming addictive to drugs, so in that issue I explained to readers how bad drugs were. I became a figurehead and a public face for Marvel comics, I have been appearing at comic book conventions and I have been giving lectures at colleges around the world and participating at panel
