According to the NJHS website, The National Junior Honor Society is an organization established to recognize students who demonstrate excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, citizenship, and character. I’m very honored to be a candidate for this organization. I would like to be a member of the NJHS because I feel this would give me a greater opportunity to give back to others in my community. I also feel that I demonstrate the correct characteristics to be in this prestigious association. In the area of scholarship, grades mean a great deal to me, and I believe that everyone’s grades in school should be as important to them as it is to me.
