I personally believe that UNC Wilmington will allow me to grow academically as a student as well as an adult. Being from a small town in Maine I have always been the type of person to try new things and live to the fullest. When I decided to go to college, my mind was set on staying close to home my first year and getting the feel of what it is like. I strongly feel I am a very independent person and enjoy the challenges of doing things on my own. I have changed my mind many times on a career path I wish to pursue I don’t find it easy for someone my age to know exactly what they want to do for the rest of their life.
I have many ambitions. I aspires to get a strong open-minded education where I can clench abstract ideas and understand the insinuations of such ideas for the complex situations. I also expect to get polished so that I can get the skills to antagonize challenging situation in work and life. I endeavors to get powerful investigative skills and well-developed historical and cultural perspective. I need to be able to inform the way people observe, understand and solve problems.
This report is intended to highlight the external environmental factors that counteract and/or contribute to the success of the University of Maryland’s objectives. The University of Maryland (UMD) is a highly accredited public university in the state of Maryland. Established in 1856, UMD has emerged and developed into an industry that that offers thousands of diverse educational programs at various student status levels; such as undergraduate and graduate. The enchanting skyline that travels for miles and miles; lights that reach the stars illuminate the dark sky; melodies of busy streets and hustling people fill the air. This is the city that never sleeps. 8.5 million of us shine to enliven the streets of New York City, doing our best to last through the dark. As humans, we are attracted to changes in the contrasts of hues, which is why we are mesmerized by flickering lights. Lights signal certain thoughts, and based on their origins, we walk a path of induced curiosity.
I want you to know that school is pretty easy for me. Last year I was a part of National Junior Honor Society. My grade point average was a 3.6. I was ninth in my class. I like to play sports.
Honors Academy? Jr. Honors Academy students acquire sophisticated academic skills and increased self-confidence in preparation for college by engaging in rigorous courses of study. Academy members will also participate in a small learning community that focuses on character development and academic success.
I would like to become an active member of Carrboro High School’s National Honor Society in order to benefit my community through service. I am immensely committed to serving and improving my community, as I have made distinctly clear with my 143 service hours. Cade Young Borger Middle School NJHS Application Essay May 10, 2023 Being accepted for membership in the National Junior Honor Society would be a great honor. The National Junior Honor Society will be an opportunity for me to show that even with a learning disability like dyslexia. Hard work strong determination and willingness you can overcome any obstacles you face. I know I can be a valuable member of the NJHS because, I carry all the qualities required by this organization: character, citizenship, leadership and service.
Purpose: To highlight and bring recognition to Enrollment Advisors who impact the department on a daily basis through factors related to character, engagement, and overall attitude towards their work. Award: • Weekly Basis: Each week, one enrollment advisor (EA) will be selected based on qualitative metrics and recognized for their contribution to the overall environment of enrollment services (ES). They will be (1) “shouted-out” in an email as well as (2) have their name placed on the bulletin board in the office space. • Monthly Basis: At the final Friday meeting of the month, one EA will be selected as the individual who contributed the most in the month to the overall environment of the ES department. The person will receive (1) a whole-group shout out by the director of ES as well as (2) a small award (gift card, food or beverage item, etc.)
I am extremely honored to be eligible for this opportunity to apply for the National Honor Society. Becoming a member of the National Honor Society has been a goal I set for myself since I was a student in middle school. I have been greatly looking forward to this moment for a very long time. Overall, I have worked incredibly hard these last two years to display a positive character and obtain qualities such as leadership, responsibility, and scholarship. There are many ways that a student can benefit by participating in the Honors College, from growth in academics to development in communication and networking skills. The Honors College is a program that has a diverse amount of resources which can help me achieve my goals as I enroll into the university. For instance, an intellectual goal that I have and hope to achieve while participating in the Honors College is to expand my knowledge and wisdom beyond the classroom. My interest in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. sparked when I met Sheila Hudson. At the time I had no idea that she was an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. What I saw in Shelia Hudson was a smart, accomplished, proficient women who completely shattered all of my preconceived expectations of what I thought a sorority girl was supposed to be like.
I can contribute my hard work to the Honors College community. I think that I am hardworking and I love to work with others to help solve problems because two heads are always better than one. I would contribute my ideas to the lessons and help others when they need it. I love to be able to work with other people outside my comfort zone and be able to hear their ideas and combine ideas to come up with something that will benefit everyone in the community.
I am accustomed to a rigorous course load and having to manage my time. Being a part of the Honors College, surrounded by those who share the same ideals and high standards as I do, will only further my success. Living in an academically inclined environment would allow for me to make great working relationships and friendships! Not only that, but the Honors College provides many opportunities for study groups and extra help; which will be rather beneficial considering I am planning on majoring in biochemistry. I would be an exceptional candidate for the Honors College because I am not only interested in getting a fantastic education, but I want to get involved in the school and make my college experience the best that it can be.
