For a few months I have been researching about Stephenie Meyer. I have found out a lot about her, a lot of interesting facts actually. There is so much that I can write about. Unfortunately, I can only right a few things. I am going to be writing about and researching about her early life, her accomplishments and all of her books and awards.
Stephenie Meyer was born on December 24, 1973 in Hartford Connecticut. Her parents are Stephen Morgan and Candy Morgan. Stephenie grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. She grew up with five siblings, three brothers, and two sisters, their names are Seth, Emily, Jacob, Paul, and Heidi. During her high school years she attended Chaparral High school in Scottsdale, Arizona. In 1997, she attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and got her BA in English. She met her husband, Christian, when she was four years old. They were both 21, when they got married inn 1994. Christian retired to take care of their 3 young boys. Stephenie and her family attend The Church of Latter-day Saints church. Before Meyer wrote Twilight she had no experience as a writer of any kind and had never written a story before. …show more content…

She has had a lot of inspiration in her life for her to write these books. She has a series of books called Twilight. The series has four books including: Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn. These books are very interesting and all show dark sides but also light. Meyer had gotten the idea for Twilight in her dream. Her dream is now chapter 13 in her book, which is one of the main points in the whole series. Eight publishers tried competing for the rights to publish Twilight in 2003. Twilight was published in 2005 with 75,000 copies. It reached number 5 on the New York Times Bestseller list, and later it rose to number one. Foreign rights were sold to 26 different countries. The novel was named Publishers weekly Best Book of the year and a New York Times editor
