Stereotypes Against Dress Codes

Boys think it is so fair to have a dress code because it barely applies to them. Girls are forced to wear clothes that cover their entire body. At many middle schools and high schools, dress codes are not very strict to the guys. The girls on the other hand have to follow a rule because the boys cannot control themselves.
Even though we cover up, guys still find a way to get us in trouble. We are supposed to believe that it’s our fault that we have the dress code but in reality, it’s not. What I have learned in that past is that guys find weird things to like about girls. Ever since 5th grade I have been wondering what it’s like for a guy to talk to you. Many others don’t even think about following it, they want to get in trouble. Since some girls are like this, there are some guys who are the opposite of the regular guys. Some guys are very responsible and treat a girl with respect. Dress code is obviously biased with guys and girls, but can also be just girls and girls. If there is a girl who is a little bigger than average, teachers leave them alone. Why? Because they feel bad and if they say some thing, that girl would think they’re calling her fat. They don’t feel bad for the girls who are skinny and are maybe a little too skinny. They don’t mind dress coding those girls because they know they won’t take offense to it. Actually, yes they will. Those girls will see that dress code basically applies to only them. Girls feel like it is there fault that they get looked at differently by boys. They feel as if they are ashamed to even go to school because of the guys, and how they have to transform themselves to not let it happen so we don’t get in trouble. What we learned as kids is to treat others how we would like to be treated. Shouldn’t guys follow that rule so dress code wouldn’t even exist?
