The vampire has often seen or portrays as a stereotype which is an evil and blood-sucking monster. However, not all vampires are evil they fell in curse like a disease where they could not get out. They are not to be blamed for just like humans need food they need blood for the survival. Even though vampires are shown as the monster they still have emotion and feelings towards their loved ones. Love does not discriminate anyone it is felt by every creature on this earth. Similarly in the movies ” Dracula” by George Melford, “Nosferatu” by F.W Murnau and “Let Me In” by Matt Reeves portrays the same emotion of love towards a human. Not only Humans even vampires fall in love.Humans beauty can seduce and attract the vampire. In the movie “Dracula” by George Melford ( Dracula) the vampire had three brides whom he had compelled to become his servant, he had no affections towards them. However, he was looking for a special woman whom he can make his wife for eternity.So, Dracula undergoes a very risky sea voyage to find her and he finds Mina whom he falls in love. He continues to pursue her even when he’s exposed to Van Helsing. This demonstrates that Dracula encounters something special on Mina and risk his life for her. His love towards Mina drives him to act this way. He gets into so much trouble by exposing himself and putting himself in danger only to purse Mina. Furthermore, In the video clip of Bram Stokers "Dracula", Dracula falls in love with Mina because he believes she is a reincarnation of his dead wife Elisabeta. This proves that even though his wife is dead he still has certain feelings for her so he feels some connection between his wife and Mina and has special feelings for Mina than any other women.
